I am devoted to empowering others to see their personal value, move forward from challenging or painful experiences, and not only accept who they are today, but to also see the potential in their future. Working together we will explore how to better manage responses to the stress of daily life, as well as move forward from past experiences so you can focus on living for today.

Biography
My goal and focus are establishing rapport, trust, empathy, and safety for my patients, providing a safe and comfortable environment, and opening about their experiences or struggles they face. I am passionate about empowering others to see their personal growth and value. My practice focuses on a compassionate, holistic, patient-centered, and evidence-based approach to managing each patient’s needs. I enjoy working with children/teens and helping them navigate the challenges of ADHD, depression, and anxiety. I do understand their struggles, by dealing with ADHD myself and most of my family members. I am also passionate about working with adults and the geriatric population struggling with depression (seasonal and postpartum) and anxiety, limiting their ability to live fully and move forward from challenging or painful experiences and limiting reaching their true potential.
I was born and raised in Poland and came to the United States at age 14 and had experienced a major culture shock during my teenage years. I lived in Chicago for over 25 years, where I met my husband. Today I have 2 young boys that keep us busy with school and activities. I also love to spend my free time outside hiking and exploring nature. As of recent, I started to grow and keep plants alive. I find enjoyment in seeing them flourish.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Nursing Science specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health from Walden University and a Professional License for the State of Washington with prescriptive authority. I have been in the nursing profession for over 19 years and have been privileged to work with all types of the patient populations in various areas of culture, nationality, religion, age, sex, and physical and mental illness. My original nursing background was in acute medical-surgical and critical care mixed in with psychiatric illness and addiction. I then decided to further my career and obtain a master’s degree. I chose psychiatry, as it can be challenging and rewarding in so many ways. I pride myself on my skills to actively engage with my patients during my encounters, listen attentively and empathize, have an open mind to meet patients’ care and needs and meet unique mental health concerns.
